Masonic Mottoes Written in Latin

Masonic Mottoes

There are a number of Masonic Mottoes written in Latin that Freemasons have used and still use to this day for different branches of their Orders.  Many are placed on banners or put on the heads of their documents.
You may have noticed that some phrases appear identical with the exception of one letter. This is because the Latin alphabet only had 21 characters and different parts of the world used slightly different characters for their Latin texts. This letter is always a C/G or I/J or V/U/W.
